Kathy Cox and her sister Kerri Cox Beard are the 'KCs' in KC Custom Glow Up (as well as a tribute to our wonderful city:).  They represent the design element of the company, while John Zirkelbach is the craftsman (or should we say the "Custom") behind the saw, that turns their vision into reality!

Kathy is a speech-language pathologist in the area and enjoys working with children.  Her and her fiancee John live in Lee's Summit with their fur baby, Crowie.  They have always had a passion for competing in endurance racing and Ironman triathlon.  But after both were sidelined with injuries in 2021, they searched for another hobby to fill that void until they were once again healthy. KC Custom Glow Up was that "something"... and so it began!

Kerri, her husband Jimmy, and their two children currently reside in Grain Valley with their dog, Cooper.  Along with being an educator, wife, and mother, Kerri has found some time to join the "GLOW UP" team! She now offsets her already busy schedule of chasing her kiddos around their different sporting events to chasing a dream of lighting up our beautiful city!
